A website — especially a webshop — isn't a “just build it and it's done” request. A few things only you can take care of, since they're tied to your own business or bank account. This page collects everything that could come up — depending on what you're building, only part of it will apply to you. You'll also get a list tailored to your exact answers at the end of the instant-quote quiz.
Whatever you're building
A domain name
If you don't already have a domain, I can help you pick and register one. If you do, I'll just need access — or the DNS settings handed over.
Written content and images
The quality of your intro text, service or product descriptions, and photos directly affects how quickly we can move. The more you have ready in advance, the faster we launch.
Webshop
A payment provider account (e.g. SimplePay, Barion, Stripe)
Only you can register this and get it approved, since it's tied to your business and bank account. Approval can take a few days and usually requires a registered business or tax number. I handle the technical integration once the account is ready.
A shipping partner (e.g. MPL, GLS, Foxpost, Packeta)
You'll need to decide who ships your orders and sign up as a business customer with them — we'll set up the shipping options and rates in the store based on that.
Terms & Conditions and a Privacy Policy
This is a legal requirement for webshops. I can help put together a starting point, but a lawyer should review the final wording.
Product data
Names, descriptions, prices, and stock levels — along with photos. If you don't choose the upload service, you'll enter this yourself through the finished admin panel.
